The Defense Group of Leidos has an opening for an AFP Operations Manager at Ft Bragg, NC.

This is an excellent opportunity to use your experience helping the G37 TREX Program.  This mission supports INSCOM, an Army Direct Reporting Unit (DRU), as it executes mission command of operational intelligence forces; conducts worldwide multi-discipline and all-source intelligence operations; delivers advanced skills training, linguist support, specialized quick reaction capabilities, and intelligence-related logistics, contracting, and communications in support of Army, Joint, and Coalition commands and the National Intelligence Community.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Accountable for all aspects of the Army Foundry Platform operations functions assigned to the contracted staff; manages the hands on, accountability of all instructors at the Army Foundry Platform

- Ensure contractor personnel are trained, are capable, and maintain their job currency

- Work directly with Army Foundry Platform Course Managers to ensure proper training and qualifications are met by the contract instructors

- Accountable for the management of daily functions of the Instructors at the Army Foundry Platform to include instructors not geographically located

- Accountable for creating, editing, managing, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Track and report training schedule for Army Foundry Platform training events and provide monthly status reports outlining events, outcomes, and Contractor support

- Aid in class preparation by ordering workbooks, setting up workstations, printing appropriate student and instructor packets, references, and handouts, and setting up the student shared drive

- Responsible for graduating AFP students in ATRRS; provide detailed and quantitative report concerning number of AFP classes and graduates on a monthly, quarterly, bi-monthly, and annual basis and as required

- Assist in the development, execution, update, and continual evolution of the Army Foundry Platform courses through emerging techniques, technologies, and AAR reviews

- Must attend and graduate DISFC, GEP, and DISMGC within 90 days

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (preferred: education or intelligence studies)

- Must have a minimum of 12+ years of professional experience as a 35D or 350F

- 6+ years tactical and operational experience as an intelligence professional spanning MICO, BCT, DIV-Corps level echelons

- Graduate of Army Instructor School or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course (i.e. Common Faculty Development Instructor Course / CFDIC)

- Demonstrated proficiency in use of Digital Intelligence Systems (DIS) applications, to include DCGS-A Family of Systems

- Experienced in the development of architecture and topology strategies

- Proficient in systems integration tasks for MI systems

- Experienced in managing large projects in geographically separated employees

- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

- DISMG Graduate

- Has communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates; proficient with all Microsoft Office tools

- Knowledgeable on interoperability principles from tactical to strategic level operations
