The Leidos Defense Group has an immediate career opportunity for an Enterprise Tools Analyst based in Montgomery, Alabama.
Summary:
This position is in support of the AFINC II contract for the highly visible 26th Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS) at Maxwell Air force Base-Gunter Annex, Alabama, which provides a world-wide support mission.
The 26 NOS is responsible for the intranet support of the entire Air Force network.
The mission of the 26 NOS is to operate and defend the Air Force (AF) Enterprise computer network consisting of the AF Wide Area Network (WAN) routers, AF Network Increment 1 (AFNET Inc 1) Gateways, and the 26 NOS Local Area Network (LAN) assets.
The Enterprise Tools Analyst Administrator manages Air Force enterprise system tools and conducts in-depth analysis and data mining to improve AFIN performance.
Desired capabilities include, but are not limited to, Distributed Network Connectivity, Continuity of Operations, Information Management and Exchange, Standardization, Risk Management, DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework (DESMF), System Administration, Database Management, Account Management, Asset Management and Network Address Management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conducts research and analysis from multiple sources, which will be combined into reports and products for senior management and external customers supporting AFINC performance.
Provide and enable Situational Awareness (SA) via command and control using Air Force Life Cycle Engineering (LCSE) Process AFMCI 63-120.
Provide and enable network forensics analysis as required for issue mitigation.
Provide and enable threat response and analysis for issue mitigation.
Provide and enable network problem troubleshooting and resolution ensuring 26NOS services are restored as soon as possible.
Provide and enable network performance reports and real-time analysis.
Cross train within each work/functional area areas to improve personnel skills, increase flexibility and agility to address peak functional workloads and projects.
Train all customer interfacing personnel in HDI techniques to increase customer satisfaction and response.
Assign a Business Analyst to review work processes and established an as is and to be ITSM v3 processes (process improvement and efficiencies). (Note: Process improvement does not mean reducing staff but increased capability and ability to perform current functions more efficiently and effectively).
Create a tool feature training plan to provide Contractor and Government operator’s comprehensive instructions on how to perform all tasks associated with new and existing tools used by the 26 NOS to manage and operate AFNET and AFNET-S.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or additional relevant experience in lieu of Bachelors.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Secret Clearance required or may start with an Interim Secret Clearance.
Must have a certification in one or more of the following: Splunk, Arcsight, Elastic Stack, ACAS, RedSeal, SolarWinds, or HBSS.
Must have one of the following IAT certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP
