We have an exciting opportunity with the The Defense Group at Leidos for a Development Site Lead to support our Warner Robins, GA, office and the Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS), which provides depot supply management for the U-2 and Distributed Common Ground Station (DCGS).   This position will lead the design and development efforts to continuously improve technical solutions that meet new requirements and emerging priorities for the ALMSS customer. This individual also acts as the Site Lead addressing local staffing and reporting requirements, interfacing across multiple teams, with the local Government Customer leadership and reporting up the Leidos Program Manager.

THE CHALLENGE:

•    Provide technical vision through the identification, evaluation, and development of effective and efficient solutions that meet Air Force requirements.
•    Identify functional and technical requirements and facilitate deep dive sessions to better identify system requirements for continuous improvement.
•    Manage a team of highly experienced developers and test engineers, allocating activities and resolving interdependencies.
•    Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members and government organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion on schedule, within budget constraints, with the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
•    Develop positive relationships with customer, employees and other project stakeholders through consistent communications and building of trust.
•    Work closely with the ALMSS PMO and customer organization to understand mission requirements
•    Collaborate with ALMSS personnel to develop implementation approach consistent with strategic vision and roadmaps
•    Enhance the existing application as per the business needs.
•    Leverage understanding of risk management processes to develop robust risk mitigation plans
•    Generate weekly status reports to the Program Manager to include risk identification/mitigation, project updates, and ticket trends.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

Must currently possess DoD IASAE certification at Level II, CASP+CE, CISSP (or associate), CSSLP.  Currently possess an active secret security clearance.  BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.  Proven communication and team leadership skills.  Demonstrated ability to multi-task and efficiently work several projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.  Willingness to work as part of a technical team, both as member and as site lead.  Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with leadership, staff and customers.  Excellent organization and analytical skills including the ability to proactively identify and articulate performance and schedule trends.
