Seeking an Air Force Operational Energy Program Manager to support to the Operational Energy office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force in a remote position.
In this role, you will act as the Mission Execution Excellence Program (MEEP) Administrator, a fuel efficiency incentivization program at Charleston AFB, SC and Travis AFB, CA. If the program is successful in its first year, it will expand to more Air Force Bases.
Serve as Program Manager and Administrator for the aircrew incentivization program (Mission Execution Excellence Program (MEEP)) Develop direct and indirect incentivization plan, Manage team of contractors at the Wings and internal to SAF/IEN assigned to MEEP Coordinate continued leadership engagements and provide programmatic updates to SAF/IEN leadership, Major Commands, and Wings throughout implementation Provide detailed updates to leadership and interested parties by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials Develop and assess aviation energy metrics to discover opportunities for energy savings measures Capture requisite data for aviation metrics and perform analysis to determine best course of action for aviation energy efficiencies
- Requires 5+ years relevant USAF experience
- Program management experience
Experience with Air Force Operations, either as aviator or in support role.
Experience with Technical Writing and strong communication skills preferred.
Experience leading a team of diverse professionals to common goal
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years
