Leidos Engineering has an opportunity for a Staff Augmentation Project Scheduler who will work alongside lead engineers and account managers for various clients supported by the Power Delivery Services division.

As a Staff Augmentation Project Scheduler within Leidos’ Power Delivery Services organization, you will work alongside project managers, construction managers and lead engineers for various clients supported by the Power Delivery Services (PDS) division, supporting Transmission & Distribution electric utility projects. The position will be client facing and responsible for creating, maintaining and driving resource and cost loaded schedules using Primavera P6 Scheduling Software.
Staff Augmentation Project Scheduler Responsibilities:
Create and maintain master implementation schedule in Microsoft Project (or Primavera)
Use Earned Value Management methods to forecast impacts to the project schedule
Work with Construction Management and Project/Program Management to determine periodic forecast and develop status reporting
Establish key performance indicators of forecast accuracy
Create and maintain master schedule reporting regarding project and communicate it to the project stakeholders
Provide input for project change orders
Provide input for estimates, proposals and RFPs as required
Participate in RFP, proposal and bid reviews as required
Maintain project documentation
Staff Augmentation Project Scheduler Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in the following disciplines: Engineering, Construction Management, Business or Finance required with an additional 4+ years’ of relevant Primavera P6 scheduling experience or a Masters with 2+ years of relevant Primavera P6 scheduling experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management/Project Management
Knowledge and experience in the electric power utility industry is required
Knowledge of project scheduling concept using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
Experience with project estimating including material and manpower cost
Experience with large capital construction projects desired
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates, and other project related documentation
Ability to build and maintain relationship with external and internal clients
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of project stakeholders
PMP Certified
Must possess a valid driver's license
