Industrial/Commercial/Ag Energy Advisor
 
Leidos seeks an Energy Advisor for industrial, commercial and agricultural markets to provide direct support to customers for energy-efficiency programs that promote the continual improvement approach of Strategic Energy Management. This exciting position offers a very unique career opportunity for dynamic people who possess excellent communication and technical skills to sell leading edge energy efficiency projects within a creative team environment. A person in this position will require the ability to identify efficiency opportunities, calculate energy savings, maintain customer relationships, and deliver presentations. The Energy Advisor will directly market and work with commercial, industrial and/or agricultural facility owners. They will work closely with facility managers, facility and manufacturing engineers, contractors, suppliers, and energy engineers to encourage energy efficiency practices in their facilities. The successful candidate should have basic general knowledge of building systems, industrial systems, construction practices, and/or the energy efficiency industry. They must be highly motivated, well organized, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Qualifications:
•    Four-year technical degree is required with an engineering degree preferred and 8+ years of relevant experience with industrial, commercial and agricultural organizations and energy management is desired. Or a Masters degree with 6+ years of experience. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communications are essential. 
•    Valid driver’s license.
•    Physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.

Responsibilities: 
•    Provide direct support to customers for energy-efficiency programs that promote the continual improvement approach of Strategic Energy Management.
•    Utilize initiative to develop relationships with customers and vendors, to keep up to date and demonstrate knowledge of energy efficiency technologies and practices in demand side management. 
•    It is critical that productivity, accuracy, organization and effective communication be demonstrated in performance of work. 

This position is located in the Dallas/Ft Worth area with the possibility to be remote in the state of Texas.
