The National Solutions Operation is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to support a dynamic high growth organization. This position reports directly to the NSO/Integrated Solutions Division Finance and Business Operations Senior Manager.
The successful candidates will work alongside a team to support the objectives of the assigned program. The position will have significant impact on the program’s operational accomplishments and will be responsible for specific processes within the program. This position requires a problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analyses of complex, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions. Excellent communication skills both internally and externally are essential to the success of this position as we work with all functional peers along with the program teams – both Leidos program teams and the customer program teams.
Location: Aurora, CO or Chantilly, VA
Primary Responsibilities:
The Program Finance Analyst will be functionally responsible for the following broad areas:
Program life-cycle activities such as project setup/ maintenance, invoicing support, accruals, financial projections, and month end close.
Development and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EAC)s
Implementation of financial policies and procedures in support of projects.
Significant interaction with the Program Manager, and may involve interaction with Ops/Line Management, Finance personnel, Contracts personnel, Procurement, senior technical personnel, and various other functional or support organizations.
Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and contributes through statistical reporting, analysis, estimates, and auditing.
Prepares written, verbal, and quantitative reports for customer deliverables including the Contract Status Funds Report (CFSR)
Development of program annual operating plans (AOP) and Quarterly Forecasts.
Reporting and variance analysis to include Revenue, Profit, Cash, Backlog, Risk and Opportunities.
Participation in proposals through cost modeling and providing input into cost volumes.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline plus 2+ years related experience.
Knowledge of contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts
Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
Program Finance experience
Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems and Processes (Deltek, Costpoint)
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Clearance Requirement:
Must be willing and able to obtain a TS/SCI Polygraph
Pay Range:
Pay Range $46,150.00 - $71,000.00 - $95,850.00Covid Guidance
