In this role, you will oversee and manage the entirety of the NSO facility service centers financial planning, analysis, reporting, and forecast updates for a dozen service centers with a total expense allocation of over $5 million.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Own entirety of the facility service center financial planning, analysis, reporting, and forecast updates for a dozen facility service centers with a total expense allocation of over $5 million.

  • Prepare service center annual operating plan files with appropriate backup support and documentation.

  • Coordinate with Service Center Managers (SCM’s), Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Program Managers, and other onsite personnel across multiple facility locations to help track and update floorplan usage.

  • Using floorplan usage backup, work with Accounting to ensure allocations are appropriately charged each month.

  • Assess actual expense and base performance versus forecast for reporting and compliance-related requests.

  • Meet with Service Center Manager (SCM) regularly to incorporate any new information into forecast updates and/or explain major variance drivers.

  • Help prepare journal entries for Accounting to correct cost and base errors.

  • Adhoc reporting and analysis as needed.

WHAT SETS YOU APART * Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance related field and 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Economics-related financial analysis

  • Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and program finance analysis

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Excellent analytical skills, able to identify financial drivers and perform high level and detailed analysis

  • Good communication skills both verbally and written to clearly provide detailed analysis.

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE * Preferred Skills:

  • Government Program Finance experience

  • Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, Oracle Analytics, and other Leidos financial systems

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
