Leidos is seeking a Trainer to provide professional service support to our DHS customer. This position will assist in the development, tracking, and reporting of training materials in support of DHS CyberSecurity.
Analyzing training needs and developing programs to address them; providing consultation and recommendations to customers on innovative training solutions, as well as on effective and relevant curriculum development and delivery; creating asynchronous and synchronous instruction designed for a distributed learning environment; working with instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional technologists, and multimedia developers to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate distributed learning solutions; creating storyboards, scripts, scenario-based instruction, and other advanced learning strategies to meet the needs of the learners; providing expertise in the creation of processes, and implementation of distributed learning; performing the actual detailed development of course materials or courseware, as well as product testing, and maintenance.
May also provide train-the-trainer programs and qualify trainers for content delivery.
Video instruction and production experience may be required. Portfolio will be requested.
Experience drafting IT, cybersecurity, or related technical documentation using federal government, particularly DHS, official document requirements and style guides
Minimum Requirements include:
Bachelors degree in related discipline
8 years of relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a customer specific background investigation
