Job Description:

At Leidos, we deliver innovative solutions through the efforts of our diverse and talented people who are dedicated to our customer’s success.  We are seeking a Logistics Support Lead in Orlando, FL to manage, coordinate, direct and participate in product support for a complex simulation training system that will impact and define support for the Army's critical future training capability.  This position will influence, direct and contribute to system level and component level solutions involving support planning, staffing, test, validation and program execution. The Logistic Support Lead will be the lynch-pin for tying together and recommending/implementing new solutions, processes, policies, and standards in support of a system of system simulation training system.

Job Summary:

In this role you will be able to manage a small support team  dealing with areas such as material (GFE) management, establish and manage a data library, define and support up to system level logistics demonstrations and evaluations, create and defend product support plans and projections for lifecycle sustainment, develop the maintenance support plan/concept including help desk, automated BIT testing, 2 level maintenance concepts, and technical support documentation.  Candidates should have a good command of system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of complex systems. 

A successful candidate will deal with complex issues that stretch across software, network and hardware integrated solutions in a distributed and virtualized Agile environment.  Outputs from this effort will create, validate and deliver all supporting Product Support Documentation for the complete simulation training system being fielded.  Candidate will be required to meet challenging schedules and must have experience with incremental delivery of successful product support artifacts and services in an Agile environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in related field and 10+ years of relevant experience in Logistics support and/or Product Support

  • Hands-on experience in logistics and system product support definition

  • Proven example of product support planning and successful execution

  • Proven example of product support planning and successful execution

  • Requires US citizenship and the ability to acquire an active Secret DOD clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD security clearance

  • Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and Agile program development
    Familiarity with the creation of video, electronic and embedded training and logistics products
