Are you interested in improving and shaping the IT industry? Leidos is seeking an Informatica Developer who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in supporting an Investor-Owned Utility client headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. Leidos has a long-term customer who we have supported in all areas of IT operations since the client’s first outsourcing engagement over 20 years ago.
The successful candidate will design, develop, deploy and support technical solutions in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will support and enhance existing applications as well as develop new applications to meet organizational goals and objectives. Candidate must be familiar with the configuration and system testing process. This position requires an experienced, self-motivating individual capable of performing in a fast-paced development environment, as well as interacting effectively with key customers and users.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop, debug, maintain and test informatica software
Write code for complex design systems
Good understanding of how operating systems and databases work
Resolve and provide solutions to any issues that may arrive
Conduct quality checks on data regularly
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar degree or 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
4+ years of experience working on a support and development team required
Be able to work within limited time restraints and strict deadlines
Development knowledge of all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
Proficiency with all or some of the following: Windows and basic Microsoft Office Suite, Java, C++, VB6, .NET, HTML, SQL, Autosys, SFTP, Version control, testing methodologies.- C#.Net Programming; SQL/Oracle Programming, SQL Agent/SQL Jobs; Database Design: SQL triggers, functions, procedures, views; ASP.NET; .NET Windows Services; .NET Web Services; Developing project estimates, requirements documents, and design documents; SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services; Crystal Reports; Visual Studio (all versions); SQL Server Management Studio; SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio; Toad; Linux/Unix, Python, Cloudera/Hive/Hadoop
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and team building skills
Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
