The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a full-time telework System Administrator position. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and Defense Civilian HR Management System (DCHRMS) programs. Both of these programs support large HR data systems for our customer, the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC).
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to help us maintain multiple SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) servers across production and non-production environments. We want someone who already has the necessary clearance and expertise so they can support the team immediately. Looking for a qualified person with hands-on experience performing installs, upgrades, configuration, and maintenance. The candidate must already hold an active investigation (Tier 5) in order to be adjudicated to the IT-I level Position of Trust, an active Security+ certification, and at least two years of BOBJ experience. They must also be willing to obtain a BOBJ professional certification and work nights and weekends when necessary. This position will report to the DCPDS/DCHRMS Application Support Manager.
Installation, administration, and maintenance of BOBJ systems
Implementing best practices
Identifying and recommending system functional specifications
Upgrades and migrations
Configuring of virtual systems
Backup and recovery of IT infrastructure
Updating and supporting systems by tuning performance
Allocating storage space
Implementing critical patches
Reviewing systems performance logs to identify anomalies
Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience
Holds an active investigation (Tier 5) in order to be adjudicated to the IT-I level Position of Trust
Active Security+ certification
At least two years of BOBJ professional experience
Willing to obtain BOBJ profession certification within 180 days of start date
Willing to work nights and weekends
Good communication skills and ability to train others
Previous experience with the following technologies is a plus:
Windows server administration
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Pay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00
