Our customer maintains a highly demanding mission and requires our support to provide expert technical and professional management support to the commands enterprise Information Technology (IT) services. The overall team supports a program that provides sustainment, maintenance, innovation, Problem and Change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of the Department of Defense IP networks.
The HBSS/ESS Application Whitelisting role supports the HBSS/ESS Lead in operating and maintaining McAfee software and clients for organizations supported by the NORAD and USNORTHCOM, with a focus on Application Whitelisting and Control. Activities that this position performs include Systems Analysis, modifying and updating systems based on results of analysis, deployment of applications and tools, performing testing of deployed application and tools, and communicating updates to HBSS/ESS Lead and customers as required.
In this role, you will...
Implement, tune, and sustain Application White Listing (AWL) on all N&NC computer systems belonging to the NORAD and USNORTHCOM networks.
Train and sustain Tier II resources for the AWL service, and directly sustain systems managed and maintained through the HQs NORAD and USNORTHCOM N2NOMS contract.
Provide HBSS/ESS support to HQs NORAD and USNORTHCOM, and all subordinate organizations.
Provide performance tuning to systems and troubleshoot HBSS/ESS components across multiple network environments
Provide solution engineering support to ensure systems and components meet current and future standards
Deploy, maintain, and tune McAfee clients to meet current and future standards
Develop, create, deploy, and manage custom HBSS/ESS signatures
Monitor HBSS/ESS for intrusions, failures and other issues, and resolve as needed
Follow approved DoD, STIG standards and DoD IAVA requirements
Advise / make recommendations of needed updates to HBSS/ESS Lead
Maintain and troubleshoot the HBSS/ESS management systems
Monitor and audit configurations to ensure that unauthorized changes do not occur
These are the required qualifications for this role...
Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
DoD 8570 IAT II
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must hold a Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility preferred

DISA DoD HBSS 201 and 301 Certifications
McAfee Endpoint Security 10.7 Essentials Certification
Windows Operating System Certification (e.x. Server+, MCSA, MCA)
Experience developing policy for ENS Exploit Prevention, ENS Firewall, Application Whitelisting and Data Loss Prevention.
Salary Target for this Role: $90,000.00-$105,000.00
Pay Range:Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00
