Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Test Engineer to support the Digital Innovation for GSA Infrastructure Technologies (DIGIT) program.

This position is 100% telework, but must be U.S. based. Per the contract, U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status is required.

The Senior Test Engineer will support the Digital Innovation for General Services Administration (GSA) Infrastructure Technologies (DIGIT) task order. This position requires defining and optimizing the existing testing framework and conducting testing of various releases. As a Senior Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, updating, and implementing test procedure, process, documenting test results, and working with the key stakeholders in communicating results.

  • Designs and develops complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services 
  • Designs and builds test stations 
  • Designs surveys for evaluation of Subject Matter Expert (SME) input and user assessments of performance 
  • Supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation (e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) strategy, Test & Evaluation master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports) 
  • Plans program- and event-level testing for collection of data required for analysis and to synch T&E events with supported decision points 
  • Writes complex test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications 
  • Gathers test data and evaluates the results of tests to determine if product designs and architecture meets customer specifications and performance expectations 
  • Develops complex test simulations to evaluate how products react under different conditions and analyzes product failure to assess the integrity and reliability of product performance 
  • Debugs complex test hardware and software 
  • Analyzes test cases and scenarios and reports results 
  • Collaborates with other engineering groups to improve or upgrade product performance 
  • May provide work leadership for lower level employees 
  • Provides architectural and system/software engineering solutions to develop or integrate products and applications intended for use by the customer's system developers 
  • Applies qualifications to data elements 
  • Technologies that are prevalent within the existing products are JAVA, C++, XSLT, XML and scripting languages 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years' experience. Additional experience and/or relevant certifications will be considered in lieu of degree.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Experience with testing frameworks
  • Familiar with all phases of testing framework and multiple environments
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00
