1901 Group (A Leidos Company) has an upcoming potential opportunity for a Sr. Vulnerability Engineer in Southwest, Virginia.
 
POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently searching for a Sr. Vulnerability Engineer who will provide operational support of vulnerability management processes for our internal and external customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Perform account management tasks including adding, changing, and deleting user accounts in a secure RBAC environment.
•    Provide asset management workflow support
•    Perform tools configuration EM7, Service Now, SolarWinds, NetLineDancer, PRTG and others. Tasks include onboarding new devices for monitoring, adjusting monitoring thresholds, and ensuring devices are monitoring and alerting as required.
•    Responsible for in depth security admin, which includes research, design, installation, testing, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of 1901 and customer systems.
•    Perform patch and security configuration activities to ensure servers and databases under management are properly secured and up to date.
•    Remediate vulnerabilities using BigFix, Powershell scripts and Active Directory GPOs.
•    Build and deploy Group Policy Objects to enforce desired enterprise behavior.
•    Monitor health, performance and operational trends to proactively identify issues before they become incidents.
•    Perform tools integration tasks so the 1901 Group tools stack efficiently shares data across the platform. Integration may be performed via Python and other scripting languages, system API, or tools configuration.
•    Provide system upgrade support during tools platform upgrades and provide on-call support to ensure system availability.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

•    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance prior to start.  Candidates who have recently held a Public Trust clearance may be able to start sooner. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 
•    Bringing 10+ years of experience in Windows System Administration, able to offer conceptual knowledge as well as practical application
•    Knowledgeable in Linux and/or Windows server management skills, with a desire to learn deeper Linux and Windows administration.
•    Exposed to TCP/IP and other basic networking, with a desire to learn deeper networking skills
•    Previous experience with Python or other similar programming languages, and a desire to learn advanced Python skills
•    US Citizenship required
