Leidos is searching for a Graphic Designer to provide support to the Contract Management Team on the ITSSCII program. The ideal resource will be a detail-oriented, self-starter who can work individually, but also enjoys working with teams. In order to be successful in this role, this individual must be proficient in graphic design and have exceptional writing skills. This position requires a strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand the customer mission and organization, as well as, the ability to adapt to changing customer needs and requirements.

Day to Day Responsibilities

•            Using Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint skills to conceive, design, and coordinate editorial illustrations and creative artwork in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, Proposal Operations Standard Operating Procedures and Leidos branding guidelines.

•            Reads and interprets RFP requirements to ensure compliance with all font, page, sizing, and other proposal submission requirements.

•            Creates visually aesthetic and compliant proposal binding and packaging.

•            Ensures graphics and packaging are developed within Proposal Schedule.

•            Assists with the creation and editing of white papers.

•            Manages projects from inception to execution, including concept development, content sourcing, visuals, production, and event support.

•            Reviews existing material for potential updates or improvements.

•            Obtains quotes for printing and production and work with vendors as needed.

•            Responds to and coordinates requests from business leaders, generating deliverables in support of the business. 

Required Skills

•            Must have the ability to interpret and understand Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements

•            Must be proficient with Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as, Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint

•            Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

•            Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively (oral and written) across a large, diverse group of executive-level staff, as well as, customers

•            Experience with writing and editing white papers

Desired Skills

•            Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or Social Science

•            Previous experience with government proposal graphics

Education and Qualifications

•            Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of hands on experience or Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience in a related field.

•            Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
