Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a Technical Support Manager for a 150+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management.  This position is located in Reston, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered.

The Technical Support Manager will work with developers, systems engineer and architects to supports the development of digital policies and incorporate them into the enterprise This role will participate in deployment and administration of customer tools, creating automated unit and integration testing. You will lead the team to develop customer outreach programs and will be forward facing amongst other IC partners.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads teams with development of project scope, requirements and goals.

  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, and technology.

  • Provides guidance to system development/implementation planning by preparing system engineering, management, system integration, and/or test plans.

  • Works to achieve key project/program objectives and deliverables.

  • Translates technical specifics into clear non-technical requirements.

  • Provides management for the set up and configuration of systems.

  • Creates and keeps up to date the process documentation and provides training when needed.

  • Implementation of Best Practices.

  • Directs work effort of contractor team.

  • Coordinates across technical and organizational boundaries.

  • Effectively communicates across the team, across functional organizations and sponsor groups.

  • Proactively identifies and mitigates risks, identifies and capitalizes on opportunities.

  • Establishes and maintains an inclusive work environment consistent with Leidos values and requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

  • Prior experience with programs of similar size and complexity.

  • Experience with the Sponsor and the Sponsor’s mission.

  • Requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

  • Ability to lead others and clearly convey complex technical concepts.

  • Proven leadership skills in a complex technical environment with tight security restrictions and a diverse work force (4+ years of experience).

  • Strong technical analytical skills with hardware and software.

  • Experience with best practices with database management and administration.

  • Experience programming experience with a wide range of languages.

  • Management and Digital Policy Management.

  • Experience with the Sponsor’s security accreditation process.

  • Experience working on an Agile team.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with the XACTA security accreditation tool.

  • Experience with the Sponsor’s entitlement management programs.

  • PMP, SAFe Agilist Certification, AWS certification.

COVID Response
