Job Description:
The candidate will support the Air Force in the execution of the Encroachment or partnership program as encroachment or partnership analysts. The candidate will work primarily in Leidos approved work
space, though duties may require them to support the Air Force onsite in locations as needed. The candidate will support the Air Force in meetings across all levels of the Air Force enterprise and with other DoD Services and OSD Components, where appropriate. This support can include, but is not limited to, preparing the agenda, briefing charts and additional read-ahead information, managing calendar invitations, drafting meeting minutes, and tracking applicable action items. The candidate will also support the Air Force in the preparation of briefing materials, point papers, tasking matters, and staffing in support of encroachment management in accordance with Air Force guidance and standards. The candidate will also provide assistance in the update, coordination, and execution of Air Force Instructions. Program responsibilities outlined in the instructions may also be supported by the candidate, to include information briefings and assisting other offices with specific roles and responsibilities, as requested. The candidates will assist in drafting and coordinating strategic guidance that further defines the program and identifies synergies with foundational programs. In addition, the candidate will also assist in the development of prototype risk reports.
The candidates may also support program coordination with the DoD programs. This shall include distributing and tracking informal and formal reviews in accordance with Air Force guidance and standards, to assist in determining the potential impacts of proposed projects on Air Force mission requirements. This may include facilitating Air Force reviews through Headquarters Air Force, applicable MAJCOM(s) and installations, and subject matter experts as required. The candidates may also assist in managing response teams to facilitate compatible development and mitigate
potential for adverse impacts. This effort includes coordinating mitigation efforts and meeting logistics among the Air Force leadership, applicable commands and installations, subject matters, OSD Component(s), and private industry representatives where appropriate.
Education and Experience: Requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
