The Program Finance Analyst is responsible for the financial aspects of programs in support of a wide range of customers. This position will be in the Civil Group, under the Commercial Energy Services Operation, focused on a large volume of complex direct projects in the Power Delivery Services Division. The PFA will possess a working knowledge of multiple contract types, tools, and processes to monitor performance and ensure policy and program compliance. May participate in new business proposals. Significant interaction with a large team to support the objectives of the assigned programs. This position will have significant impact on the program’s operational accomplishments and will be responsible for specific processes within the programs. This position requires an organized and experienced problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analyses of complex, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions.
The Program Finance Analyst will organize and lead the project setup, monitoring, invoicing, estimating, and closeout processes. Serve as liaison between the Program Team and cross-functional departments to manage financial performance. Act as a seasoned individual contributor, fully proficient in applying established standards. Work with minimal supervision to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results. Responsible for entire projects or processes within this area. Develop solutions to problems and issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and understanding of domain knowledge. Communicate with colleagues across multiple functional areas. Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and contribute through statistical reporting, analysis, estimates, and auditing. Influence and train less experienced PFAs.
BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Basic knowledge of multiple contract types: CPAF, CPFF, FFP, T&M. Extremely high level of attention to detail. Able to work successfully in a dynamic environment with remotely located teammates.
Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems and Processes. Experience in Costpoint, BART, PACMN, Oracle Business Intelligence / Oracle Analytics Cloud, and advanced skills in MS Excel. 5+ years of experience in a project support role, with focus on financial reporting and analysis.
Pay Range:Pay Range $57,850.00 - $89,000.00 - $120,150.00
