Leidos is searching for a Senior Computer Based Training (CBT) Multimedia Designer/Programmer for an upcoming/future opening, 100% teleworking. The selected candidate will join our studio with an existing team of artists, programmers, and designers creating digital training for the United States Air Force. The selected individual will work alongside a digital art team, instructional designer, subject matter expert, video designer, and studio director creating first class training for Airmen. As the Senior Computer Based Training (CBT) Multimedia Designer/Programmer, you will work with a team to create free standing HTML5 training courseware for the 16th Air Force with course priorities established by the customer. Content is provided however, in most cases, the team is tasked with creating brand new courses from scratch to increase efficiency in Airmen training in the ISR field.  This role is multi-facetted. The individual must have a master level of expertise of the creation of this type of content with previous hands on experience executing and delivering this type of training. They require knowledge of aircraft, airmanship, platforms, and DoD procedures qualifications, in particular the Air Force.

Their day-to-day responsibilities will be to lead a team as noted above as they develop these new solutions for our customer. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and build the overarching style, look, feel, interactivity of the courseware, leveraging content from the ISD, 2D, and 3D departments.

  • Communicate with the customer and or instructors to ensure features and content improvements over previous and existing areas are met.

  • Lay out, program, and wire up the HTML/Articulate Storyline 360 application

  • Collaborate with the various disciplines listed above to maximize quality.

  • Work under the day-to-day AGILE methodology structure of the studio to deliver to meet milestones.

Qualifications:

  • (Bachelor's degree and 15+ years or Master's and 10+ years) of direct experience in the development of computer based training for the military or aerospace industries.

  • Master level of understanding of all aspects of Articulate Storyline 360, HTML5 Object-Oriented Design, UI Design,  and e-Learning

  • Superb knowledge of 2D design workflows and digital art, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues and knowledge.

  • Motivated, self-directed, personable, superb written verbal communication skills.

  • Technical expertise in aircraft training solutions from documentation to delivery.

  • Experience in leading design, coding, and testing, of computer-based training

  • Strong commitment to excellence, innovation, collaboration, with a lead by example work ethic.

  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance (requires US citizenship)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $111,000.00 - $149,850.00
