The Leidos Defense Group has a career opportunity for a Helpdesk Analyst to join the team support the DTRA program at Ft Belvoir, VA.
Performs Helpdesk tasks:
Customer Support, Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email, Resolving Hardware and Software issues.
Will provide customer follow up, service level review, problem resolution and providing ongoing changes as needed.
Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and issues.
Must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.
Will work independently on specialized projects as needed.
Coordinate communications with End Users, Tier 1, Tier 3 and Management to include specialized technical resources.
Record events and problems, to include following up with customer on status of issue or request in the Remedy ticketing system.
Requires a High School diploma and or 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
Experience providing IT Technical Support within an enterprise level PC / Microsoft environment.
Comfortable discussing technical information with users and other support personnel; Ability to quickly learn new software and IT concepts; strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Possess and active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Requires a Security+ certification.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Experience with Remedy ticketing system.
Technical knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control.
Possesses senior level PC skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat.
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues, familiar with DoD environment.
