This unique Information Technology and Agile Services opportunity provides a challenging role on a high-visibility DoD program through engineering support to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the largest information technology (IT) network in the world. Leidos is seeking an Enterprise Operations Agile Services Lead for the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract. For this program, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
The candidate will be responsible for Enterprise Services Agile Support activities including development of team processes, procedures, and oversight management of operations initiatives. This work includes business case analysis and optimization of the services delivered by SMIT using agile methods, including DevSecOps integration with Engineering and Project Teams. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for leading a team of IT Service Consultants (Service Subject Matter Experts and Agile Practices Leads) supporting IT Services, IT Service Continuity Planning and Testing, performing ongoing analysis, and trending and forecasting of service delivery to optimize operational performance and efficiency across the SMIT NMCI Enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead and Supervise the Enterprise Services Support Team.
Manage agile services support to SMIT NMCI Enterprise Operations Services, including support to Productivity, User Support, Transport, Network Operations and Cyber Operations.
Develop, design and optimize end-to-end processes to support Agile Service Delivery for Enterprise Operations Initiatives and integration support and oversight to Project Management / Engineering managed projects
Perform analysis to develop business and service delivery processes to maximize efficiencies
Provide direction and support to monitor and maintain service baselines working closely with Engineering, Logistics and Project Management teams.
Support development of Service Roadmaps, including monitoring End of Sales (EOS), End of Life (EOL) and End of Maintenance (EOM), for IT network, hardware, software, firmware and systems.
Perform Gap Analysis - Review documentation & validate progress, validate workflows, problem escalation rules, and roles
Establish and maintain transparent and respectful working relationships with leadership by site, team members, and Leidos representatives
Collaborate and coordinate with customers, management, subcontractors, vendors, and other disciplines.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or IT Disciplines and 12 - 15 years or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience with demonstrated experience managing the implementation and operation of Enterprise IT Service Delivery Capabilities (additional specific experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
Understanding of Managed Services in Government Owned Contractor Operated environments
Understanding of key ITIL processes with emphasis in Configuration, Change, Release and Deployment Management; strong understanding of Incident, Problem and Request Fulfillment
Must have directly demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Operations and agile/lean operations
Ability to develop and document solutions, including writing business case analysis, analysis of alternatives, and other proposal documentation, including creating statement of work
Ability to review and reply to statement of objectives, including development of basis of estimate
Must be able to work independently to develop innovative approaches and optimizations
As a leader, create a culture which drives continuous improvements across all IT service delivery areas; must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other stakeholders
Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Secret clearance
Travel may be required (post COVID)
Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00#Remote
