Job Description:

The Digital Modernization Accelerator has an immediate need for a Cloud Engagement Lead (CEL) to work across Leidos to provide simplified access to cloud resources and capabilities. The CEL will work in tandem with the Cloud Center of Excellence Lead to accelerate cloud adoption both corporately and for Leidos’ customers. This role requires a diverse skillset ranging from technical solutioning and project management to partner engagement and training initiatives and will allow for career growth in technical skills, collaboration, BD/capture excellence, and more.

Primary Responsibilities
Technical:
•Work with program leadership to provide technical guidance and architecture development of differentiable solutions
•Attend well-architected reviews and solutioning sessions in support of BD/Capture efforts
•Awareness and curation of cloud training resources, customization of learning plans with Leidos Learning & Development
Project Management:
•Track important metrics to monitor, assess, and improve cloud delivery across Leidos
•Measure training metrics to identify challenges and improve overall cloud competency
•Define/maintain system requirements for new/existing projects
•Create architecture diagrams, flowcharts, roadmaps, graphics, etc. to support project needs
•Work with Leidos marketing team to create content to raise awareness for cloud adoption
•Build and maintain artifact repository for component reuse
•Create and maintain process for assessing artifact reuse
Outreach:
•Works across all corporate and group lines to assess cloud needs and provide solutions
•Awareness and curation of past, current, and future BD/Capture opportunities for cloud
•Interface with external cloud service providers
•Establish a culture of “innovation through collaboration”
•Provide resources in support of IRAD’s, proofs-of-concept, program efforts in the form of funding, professional service hours, well-architected reviews, solution packages, etc.

Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree and 8 -12 years experience in Computer Science or related field
•Demonstrated experience performing solution deployments for customers
•1+ years of basic cloud proficiency with AWS or Azure
•Technical leadership experience
•Ability to be self-directed and proactively seek opportunities for technical insertion of cloud technologies
•Customer-oriented mindset; ability to treat each engagement as if you were a member of that team

Preferred Qualifications
•Have served as a Leidos Solutions Architect and supported multiple $100M+ proposal efforts
•Track record of working, and collaborating, across Group lines

Pay Range:

Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00
