Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a ServiceNow developer that provides development support to enable mission by delivering products and services to collect, analyze and manipulate data. This position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered.

The candidate will be part of a team that will provide services to support the Customer in the implementation and rollout of a tool, which is based on ServiceNow, to the Customer’s organization and structure and manage configuration items (CIs), attributes, and the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), working to optimally implement the Sponsor’s business practices in the tool. The candidate will assist the Customer in establishing governance and change management. Infrequent travel in the WMA is anticipated. Other duties include but are not limited to the following.

  • Implement the full software development life cycle to support the deployment of custom applications in the ServiceNow platform, implementing custom workflows in ServiceNow, and providing ServiceNow integration support with external systems and data sources.

  • Work with the existing software development team to develop and deploy custom applications, including Gov’t PM, system engineers, system architects, system integrators, and database administrators and follow an agile software development methodology for planning, implementing, and delivering ServiceNow capabilities.

  • Responsible for the administration of ServiceNow front-end and the administration of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the ServiceNow front-end. 

  • Develop and design ServiceNow solutions to meet the Customer’s mission requirements and provide technical expertise on all technical questions related to assigned development on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Perform component integration tests, design configurations and customizations for multiple customers, develop configurations and customizations for multiple customers, and create and manage scripts.

  • Define data tables, user interfaces and add business logic in the ServiceNow application, configure application User Interface (UI), and troubleshoot production problems related to the ServiceNow application.

Skills:
 

  • Bachelors and 12 - 15 years of relevant experience. Work experience can be used in lieu/combined with education.

  • Demonstrated experience with Java Script or other scripting languages such as Python, or Perl.

  • Demonstrated experience with web based technologies such as XLM, HTML, CSS, or HTTP.

  • Demonstrated experience using relational databases

  • Demonstrated experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow modules, to include creating or customizing core application Request Management and Knowledge Management.

  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow data models, capabilities and relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience with the ServiceNow Business Rules and the scripting aspects of the   ServiceNow Platform

  • Demonstrated experience configuring application User Interface (UI).

Desired Certification: ServiceNow Developer Certification (Certified Application Developer)
