The Defense Group of Leidos has a career opportunity for a Communications Planner in Vicenza, Italy.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will provide technical insight to communications systems and coordinator efforts to the SETAF-AF Current Operations and Integration Cell (COIC) supporting exercises and real-world missions.  Travel will be required to the African continent in support of SETAF-AF missions and exercises. 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must have an active Top Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Expertise in determining project objectives, organizing, and cataloging required resources and ensuring smooth pace and on time delivery of assigned projects.
•Broad understanding of and experience working with gathering requirements into cohesive Course of Actions (CoA) documents for decision makers.
•Executes directives by a having a thorough understanding of the customer's processes.
•Perform technical assessments aimed at improving client systems and updates system requirements based on changes in operations or policy.
•Create documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides.
•Coordinate and identify resources required for task execution and completion.
•Coordinate with the systems or updates existing systems to meet client needs.
•Serve as a technical advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation.
•Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
•Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
•Provide analytical solutions to problems and effectively communicates them to the customer and team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience.
•Experience working in a Network Operations Center or Joint Operations Center.
•DoD IAT Level II certification (Security +CE or higher).
