Job Description:
Leidos has an exciting opening for a Sr. Communication Specialist to support a large customer organization. Position is located in Bethesda, MD and comes with maximum flexibility to build your own in-office schedule between the hours of 6am and 7pm. Ability to work 4 (10 hour) days/week. No remote option. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
• Work as part of a Strategic Communications Team that implements communication strategies and projects.
• Manage and implement communication strategies and projects.
• Generate relevant, accurate and meaningful content to include hard copy, web, and email products.
• Create and deliver quality products for the customer, including speeches, talking points, executive presentations, and other collateral material needed by senior leaders.
• Ensure media production is in accordance with policies, structures and governance.
• Establish and document business processes or procedures.
Basic Qualifications
Requires Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience (or, Master's degree and 10 years of experience) developing, coordinating, writing, and implementing executive-level electronic and tangible communication products and outreach for strategic communications.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or Business Administration is desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough and accurate.
