The Leidos Intelligence Group will have a Junior Dataflow Engineer opportunity on our large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large collection systems. The work being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. Position Summary
The Junior Dataflow Engineer will be responsible for attending face to face meetings to gather and detail the necessary steps for activating new or transitioning existing data flows, participating in VTCs and TDYs to discuss customers' requirements, performing and documenting the necessary steps to activate new or transition existing data flows, drafting troubleshooting guides for use by other engineers, providing engineering hardware and software engineering support, assisting in drafting technical presentation for internal/external organizations, and performing research to provide recommendations based on customers' requirements.
Basic Qualifications
TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field
Customer specific experience will be considered in lieu of degree on a case by case basis
Strong Data flow background (will monitor ~150 flow)
Basic understanding of how data is processed
NiFi experience
LINUX is desired
Some Systems Administration background is a plus
Within the last 3 years, a minimum of 1 years experience in 1 of the following (NOTE: A BS degree in engineering, telecommunications or related field may be substituted for experience in 1 specialization):
- Signal Analysis
- Modern Tele-communications System and Networks
- Telephony Switching System:
- Communications Systems:
- Cellular/Personal Communications Systems:
- TDM/PCM Multiplexing / Modulation /Switching Systems
- Packet Switching System
