The Leidos Defense Group currently has an opening for a Mid-Level Weapons and Tactics Specialist at Joint Base Langley Eustis (JBLE) VA. This position is part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Command’s (ACC) ISR mission
Job Summary
Experienced ISR Analyst will provide Air Force Wing leaders with recommendations regarding ISR planning, deployment, operation, and integration of advanced technologies and capabilities into Joint warfighting constructs.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide assessments for Multi-INT analytic tools and capabilities by developing use cases/test plans for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) projects, Participate in Air Combat Command (ACC) and the Special Program Office (SPO) Programmatic Increment (PI) updates by providing confidence votes,
- Vetting Group / Wing level requirements, and validating ACC component requirements.
- Conduct JIRA process management and maintain Confluence web pages.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of Air Force multi-ISR discipline experience OR 10 year’s operational ISR experience is required.
- ISR experience at AF Wing level or above is required.
- TS/SCI eligibility on date of hire is required.
- Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills;
- Must be capable of critical thinking at the operational, theater and strategic levels; practice multiple structured analytical techniques; and be capable of working independently or in collaboration with multiple organizational representatives to develop strategies and solutions to complex operational and technical ISR issues.
- Proficient in JIRA Data Base, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of the Global Force Management Process (GFMAP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Internal/External Intelligence Community and Numbered Air Force coordination is desired.
- 480th ISRW regional alignment, and Intelligence Community Standards is desired.
- Air Force Distributed Common Ground Station (AF-DCGS) and Intelligence Community experience is highly desired.
