We are in search of an SQL Database Administrator (Level 1) to work at our customer site at the National Maritime Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD. This position will provide support for Hopper's SQL database infrastructure. Management of all systems shall encompass client/server all database operations and maintenance, configuration management, installations, performance and capacity planning and office automation. This work will be done in conjunction with Hopper ISC established requirement priorities and authorizations. ISC N32 provides Enterprise Operations support to the Intelligence Community (IC) at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) facility, to Department of Navy Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Contiguous United States (CONUS), and to shore SCIFs supporting commands subordinate to United States Fleet Forces (USFF) around the world.
Note: Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, and a current Security+ certification, to be considered
THE MISSION
The purpose of this effort is for the Windows Server, Desktop Management, Enterprise Application and SQL Database Support Order, which will be contracted to support the Hopper Information Services Center (ISC) Information Technology (IT) Operations Department (ISC N3), systems Division (ISC N32) for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
•Report any server performance issue that will impact mission operations
•Install, configure, secure, maintain, document, troubleshoot and administer SQL databases to provide optimum performance and system availability for the systems IT supports •Conduct routine maintenance tasks on database servers for proactive monitoring and performance tuning
•Develop, document, recommend, implement and maintain database management policies, procedures and standards.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (minimum job qualifications)
•A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience; additional years of experience may be allowed in lieu of a degree
•3 years of experience with SQL database administration
•Experience with SQL 2012 version or higher Database
•Experience with Windows Server
•An active Security+ Certification
•An SQL 2008 version or higher Database Certification
•Up to 10% travel required
Security Clearance Requirement
A current DoD Top Secret/SCI
