Leidos is hiring a Microsoft Exchange Administrator (Level 3). All work will be performed onsite at the National Maritime Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD. This position will provide Microsoft Exchange Administration support for Hopper's e-mail infrastructure and will be responsible in maintaining secure and maximum system readiness. Management of all systems shall encompass e-mail server operations and maintenance, configuration management, installations, performance and capacity planning. This work will be done in conjunction with Hopper ISC established requirement priorities and authorizations. ISC N32 provides Enterprise Operations support to the Intelligence Community (IC) at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) facility, to Department of Navy (DoN) Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Contiguous United States (CONUS), and to shore SCIFs supporting commands subordinate to United States Fleet Forces (USFF) around the world.
Note: Must have a current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, and a current Security+ certification to be considered
THE MISSION
The purpose of this effort is for the Windows Server, Desktop Management, Enterprise Application and SQL Database Support Order, which will be contracted to support the Hopper Information Services Center (ISC) Information Technology (IT) Operations Department (ISC N3), systems Division (ISC N32) for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
•Configure, maintain, support, monitor and optimize all Exchange hardware/software systems and storage requirements across the organization and make any adjustments to fine tune the system for optimum response time and throughput.
•Develop, recommend, document, implement and maintain system management policies, procedures and standards as it relates to enterprise e-mail systems in accordance with current government policies and approvals.
•Manage and troubleshoot of messaging protocols and operations with MS Exchange and manage email routing devices and services, email queues, distribution lists, and dynamic distribution lists.
•Create accounts for new hires, enforcing mailbox size limits to prevent blockage and avoid hitting the maximum storage quota, and developing policy settings for different departments.
•Work across IT functional boundaries (other system administrators, SAN administrators, Network administrators, Database administrators, etc.) with configuration, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrade and system management for optimum performance and reliability.
•Report any server performance issue that will impact mission operations
•Create, document and implement repeatable processes to install, test, upgrade, maintain and secure servers and related software.
•Develop a Disaster Recovery and Contingency Plan for Hopper ISC Services. Occasionally travel to support of this effort includes locations where servers reside.
•Install, build, rebuild, configure, maintain, secure, document and administer Microsoft Exchange Systems, system related products, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and operational requirements.
•Responsible for maintaining daily operations, monitoring, problem identification/resolution of e-mail server/systems, applications, and analyzing activity and performance ensuring system/application is providing optimum performance and availability.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (minimum job qualifications)
•A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 yrs. of related work experience; additional years of experience may be allowed in lieu of a degree, based on customer approval •7 years experience with Microsoft Exchange Server Administration
•Expert knowledge with Microsoft Exchange Server
•Proficient in Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 or higher
•Ability to manage and troubleshoot MS Exchange
•A current Security+ Certification
•Current Microsoft Exchange certification
Security Clearance Requirement
An active DoD Top Secret/SCI
Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, market data, and possibly contractual requirements

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00Covid Guidance
