Position Summary
The position is responsible for planning and integrating Group analysis functions and requirements into a capabilities-based program for implementation, development and maintenance of analytical processes and products. In this capacity, the incumbent supports the development, testing and implementation of technology based systems that enhance intelligence analysis and production while being the focal point within the Group for intelligence community planning and testing of future object based production, data discoverability, data storage solutions and program architecture to further enhance analysis and production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serves as a team focal point to manage information technology system techniques to extract/analyze data and solve new/unique analysis problems to include object-based production, discoverability and other related production tools.
• Formulates and implements methods to test and adapt proposed digital computer techniques for extracting intelligence data in an analytical form usable for the derivation of layout and design of digital networks.
• Maintains knowledge of continuing advances in intelligence analysis techniques, production methodologies, and information processing tools to develop and implement experimental/ novel approaches to improve products/processes.
• Ensures adherence to Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, Air Force and applicable regulations/guidance and manages the development, testing and implementation of technology-based systems that enhance analysis and production.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree and 4 + years of experience is required ,additional ISR experience can substitute for a degree
• Must be a U.S. citizen with current TS/SCI security clearance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations; knowledge of intelligence creation and production processes, systems, and applications.
• knowledge of analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of information/situations attained from multiple sources, to include database manipulation and advanced data searching methods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.
• Candidate must be able to multitask and deliver quality products within specified timelines.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member in a very dynamic and demanding work environment.
• Ability to work with minimal or no oversight.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in collaborative work within the United States intelligence community and the United States Air Force; Intelligence experience at Group or Wing level is preferred
• Experience with writing analytical products from original and finished sources to include ICD 203 and 206 compliance.
• Previous experience with common intelligence picture or object-based production development is highly desirable.
