Job Description:
Leidos has an immediate opening for a mid level system administrator in support of the CHCS Legacy contract, as a member of the Integration and Infrastructure team.
This position is 100% REMOTE!
Primary Responsibilities;
Remotely install software to all Military Medical Facilities Composite Health Care System (CHCS). Software installed on a regular and as needed basis to ensure all system patches and software packages are up to date. Coordinate with site staff for scheduling downtime software. Update software-tracking system to maintain accurate records of software. Coordinate and install software for System Acceptance Test (SAT) following set process and procedures. Enable/maintain user accounts at Military Medical Facilities on a rotational on call schedule. Responsible for keeping testing environment current with deployed software. Position is a split shift (i.e., working a few hours in the morning and then the remaining hours in the evening and possibly weekends).
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience or 5+ years of relative CHCS experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Must be familiar with OpenVMS and Intersystems’ Caché.
Candidate must be customer oriented, self motivated, and organized. Ability to work in a team environment is essential and a willingness toward new tasking. Must have an active ADPII clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance. Must have an active or be able to obtain prior to employment and a Security+ certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with Composite Health Care System (CHCS) software
DESIRED: Must be professional, proactive, able to work both independently and with peers, and ability to coordinate with multiple organizations. CHCS software installation experience required. Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point, and Word
Pay Range:
Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00#Remote
