Job Description:
Leidos is looking for IT Program Manager with a diverse background and strong organizational skills to facilitate the accreditation and documentation for systems deployments across its environment. This position is located in the Chantilly, VA area and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered.
The IT PM will work with division, branch, and functional leads to plan, execute and complete projects in support of delivering mission services and adapt their approach to the context and constraints of each project. They will elicit requirements from project stakeholders in support of infrastructure related projects; prioritize resources, monitor progress, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget; and work within a multidisciplinary team and assist in the areas of technical project management, situational awareness reporting and horizontal integration planning for IT projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing multiple projects and tasks including story management and development, service delivery task orchestration, and management oversight for assigned projects.
Key skills include: documentation, scheduling, SharePoint, requirements management, MS Office.
Mandatory Skills:
Requires BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
Demonstrated experience in Information Technology Project or Program Management, utilizing best practices and adaptive product development for project workflow and deliverables.
Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure engineering and operations and maintenance projects.
Demonstrated experience driving project integration efforts to completion.
Demonstrated experience creating project schedules.
Demonstrated experience planning and implementing IT standards, guidelines, and governance.
Demonstrated experience estimating project costs and maintaining scope.
Demonstrated experience using SharePoint.
Demonstrated experience facilitating and coordinating between program stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience briefing technical projects to peers and senior management.
Demonstrated experience using the MS Office suite.
Desired:
Demonstrated experience using content management systems such as Confluence, JIRA, or ServiceNow.
Demonstrated experience providing consulting and advisory services for senior IT stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience using project planning tools such as MS Project, ServiceNow, JIRA, or JIRA Portfolio.
Demonstrated experience using diagramming tools such as MS Visio, AUTOCad, or MS PowerPoint.
