The Leidos Civil NISC IV program has an opening for a Training Program Analyst position to support the Federal Aviation Administration in Washington, DC.
The ideal candidate for this position will be highly effective at accomplishing the identified responsibilities while also implementing creative solutions to unexpected situations that may arise. This candidate must be highly proficient at managing multiple initiatives at once and communicating progress to achieve expected deadlines. Additionally, this candidate will have a keen sense for process improvements and act as a self-starter to implement these changes. Maintaining active communication with team members to efficiently accomplish tasks and receiving real-time feedback to implement effectively are vital to this role; therefore, strong verbal and written communication skills are critical. A successful Training Program Analyst will actively build professional relationships with internal and external customers.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Facilitate and develop highly engaging interactive learning solutions through a variety of delivery methods and platforms including but not limited to, classroom instruction, virtual training, eLearning, PowerPoint, job aids, etc. Provides assistance and training recommendations to FAA managers and staff who directly affect the conduct and attainment of agency goals.
- Provides planning, scheduling, networking and training coordination assistance among all regional and headquarters’ organizations; involving NAS implementation and integration efforts and related monitoring/tracking programs.
- Develop instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids) and learner materials (workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and program feedback forms) using industry best practices and customer requirements.
- Provides expertise to conduct research, evaluations, and studies; present recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term training program planning requirements.
- Record Continuing Learning Points (CLPs) in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Utilize and learn technology systems to create and manipulate various internal reports
- Maintain RITES Training Team SharePoint site, which includes needs assessments, training plans and materials, summary reports, working files and reference/support documentation
- Write announcements and other promotional materials to market available training programs and courses
Required Qualifications:
- College degree required and 2+ years of experience as a Training Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) • 1+ years as Instructional Systems Designer or Trainer
- Experience working within KSN (SharePoint) sites
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great organization and leadership skills to prioritize, follow up, deliver and communicate status of assigned actions
- Strong analytical skills to understand procedural problems, identify root causes, and provide solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Personal accountability, agility and work in a team’s setting
- Independent worker; able to deliver products with minimal supervision
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience with authoring tools, such as, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Acrobat Pro
