The Defense Group at Leidos is seeking a logistics manager to lead a team of logisticians, in both an Agile and Traditional environment, in the development of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 products supporting both US Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. Travel will be required for this position.

Responsibilities – Work you’ll do:
Provide personnel management for a team of logisticians supporting US Navy and FMS products for the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 system
Serve as customer interface for multiple projects
Provide subject matter expertise to analyze and evaluate Undersea Warfare (USW) system lifecycle methodology, supportability techniques and advances, and product improvement to help ensure their effectiveness and efficiency
Monitor tasking and overall schedule of all task elements
Ensure Quality Assurance objectives are achieved for all delivered products
Develop and implement policies and procedures that will standardize technical support
Develop technical manuals and other logistics products as required by the customer
Evaluate skills required to perform contractual tasking and ensure team is adequately staffed
Provide personnel development path
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of prior relevant experience, or 13+ years equivalent technical work experience
Minimum 2 years Management experience, supervising and leading teams performing logistics product development
Experience with NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle support
Prior experience with developing products for DoD programs
Excellent written communication and grammatical skills
Excellent organizational skills
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education – Favorable if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Experience with AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 or APB Operations
Experience using SharePoint and MS Project
Clearance Required:
Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
