Job Description:
Leidos is currently seeking a Field Technician to join our team. This individual will be part of a small, technical build team who will provide expertise to in building and configuring project workstations.
Primary Responsibilities
Load workstations with the requested operating platforms to the organization’s local and wide area networks.
Provide required software installs.
Performance monitoring disk management.
Maintain system security.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions.
Basic Qualifications
Proven experience working in a technical position.
Experience with Systems Administration duties
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
Skilled at prioritization, communications and multi-tasking.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple assignments while still meeting tight timeframes.
Experience with programming, software development, systems integration
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a warehouse environment.
Logistics experience.
