The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Applications in Critical Thinking (ACT) Instructor at Offutt AFB, in Omaha, NE. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI.
The Applications in Critical Thinking (ACT) Instructor will apply expertise of curriculum development, classroom management, differentiated instruction, and training evaluation to meet client training requirements. The candidate will integrate different instructional strategies to achieve positive outcomes with adult learners of varied preferences and styles. The candidate will also update courseware and instructional materials as required, respond to ad hoc tasks and requests for information, and submit administrative reports to include travel authorization requests, expense reports, and trip reports promptly and proactively. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate with multiple instructors, client training managers, and students to facilitate delivery of coursework. In this capacity, the candidate will assist in achieving Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) training objectives.
3+ years instructional experience
5+ years military experience
Training Teams (2 weeks per month)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
3+ years of curriculum development
DoD or industry standard training and evaluation certification
Previous assignments/work in ACC ISR enterprise
Experience with using Blackboard as an instructor tool
Experience with online software development tools and applications
Experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
