Leidos is seeking qualified candidates to join our Defense Enclave Services team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies. If awarded to Leidos, positions would be available in the Washington, DC Metro area and other locations across the US and abroad.

Job Description:
In conjunction with the Chief Data Officer (CDO), develops, monitors, and implements data management strategies that align with government data policies and standards.
Leads and manages data strategy, design, and implementation activities.
Develops and facilitates the testing of the Database Management System; data security; and administration of the Database Management System with the wide range of stakeholders.
Resolves Database Management System software issues during the creation and maintenance of the new database.
Ensures the database administrators have appropriate technical certifications applicable to DES database platforms.
Establishes baseline application and database performance measures.
Supports data sharing requests, such as Agency and Activity requirements for access to their data on commodity networks.
Conducts quarterly Optimization Performance Reviews and provides performance reports containing measures of application and database consumption, performance, trends, and recommended actions to improve performance and user experience.
Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree and 12+ years or a master’s degree and 10+ years of experience in database environments life cycle management and support of production and development environment.
.Experience using APIs for automated data exchange solutions
Must have experience with High Availability and DR solutions (e.g. WSFC, Mirroring, Log Shipping, Availability Groups, and Object-based Replication).
Experience working in AWS or Microsoft Azure database environments.
US Citizen.
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master degree in Data Science or equivalent experience / certifications.
Desired Certifications: IAT II or IAM II equivalent certifications.
