The AMO Division of the Airborne Solutions Organization has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer!
This position is responsible for assisting several Modeling and Simulation (M&S) algorithms from various performers and they should be able build, test, and validate image collection systems and processing and dissemination computer algorithms for the entire system to deploy an operational capability to the end-user.
You will work with other engineers, software developers, and customer personnel to understand requirements and create M&S algorithms. The position is full-time at NASIC and requires a TS/SCI (with poly).
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with analyzing and development of geospatial solutions and product specifications
Research, design, develop, and verify image collection systems
Develop requirements analysis and sub-system architectures and integrate new image processing technology systems
Analyze the design and development of systems and algorithms for the extraction of information from sensors.
Basic Qualifications
Four (4) years of experience and a BA/BS degree. In place of the degree, may substitute eight (8) years of relevant work experience.
Experience developing C++ , Python and CUDA kernels extensions for custom network components and evaluation metrics
Experience creating custom deep neural network components and new performance metrics
Experience designing and executing experiments utilizing overhead imagery
Knowledge of Docker and Singularity for the execution of environments for experiments across compute architectures domains
Ability to deploy models created by the team on various partner platforms for evaluation and feedback
Knowledge of DoD or IC architectures and collection capabilities
Ability to demonstrate ingenuity, resourcefulness, and application of highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with working with the intelligence cycle preferred
Knowledge of intelligence authorities and programs, the principles of intelligence oversight
