The Leidos Civil Group is seeking a junior-level Program Analyst to join the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team.  The position will provide support to the mission and requirements of Enterprise Configuration Management (ECM), AJW-261 as part of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in their effort to help the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) evolve to a more risk analysis-based, efficient, and responsive service.   The position will be policy focused and located in the Washington DC office.

Anticipated business travel is less than 10%.

Primary Responsibilities

The position will assist the NAS Configuration Management Program Office by providing support for the NAS Configuration Management Automation Tool to include end-user training.  The candidate will also provide support to the Document Control Center (DCC) by analyzing reports and close-out documentation.  Additionally, the candidate will provide support to the NAS Configuration Control Board (CCB) by preparing pre-brief materials and meeting minutes.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Providing WebCM User Training
  • Providing WebCM Training Completion Certificates
  • Providing briefing materials for the NAS CCB

  •  Provides expertise and conducts research to close out CCD Actions 
  • ·Evaluates training trends and provides recommendations for areas of improvement
  •  Summarizes training metrics for inclusion in monthly deliverables
  • ·Provides planning, scheduling and coordination for WebCM Training sessions among all Service Areas, Centers and Headquarters
  • Preparing and providing instruction for WebCM User Training
  • Providing WebCM Training Completion Certificates
  • Developing and providing briefing materials for the NAS CCB
  • Providing metrics and analysis of the DCC process to evaluate and isolate issues and further identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Providing analysis to close out Change Control Decisions (CCD)
  • Supports team meetings by capturing related notes, and documents and tracks action items through to completion.
  • Documenting activities in Weekly Telework Report
  • Reviewing and editing course material for use in instructor-led classroom training
  • Creating the Configuration Management newsletter

Basic Qualifications

  • BA degree or equivalent experience and 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple FAA organizations.
  • Working knowledge of MicroSoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass the Public Trust Security Investigation prior to hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous FAA experience with knowledge of WebCM and the Document Control Center is highly desired.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $38,350.00 - $59,000.00 - $79,650.00
