Leidos is seeking an Orchestration & Automation Subject Matter Expert to join our Defense Enclave Services team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies.

Primary Responsibilities

As a leader within the organization, you will be expected to collaborate and coordinate with a geographically distributed team while working independently to design, test, and implement the orchestration & automation activities as part of digital transformation.

• Performing due diligence and knowledge transfer of incumbent/customer personnel

• Evaluates processes, tools, and technology capabilities to identify opportunities for orchestration and automation

• Team member of Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) SMEs and attends various Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs)

• Documents potential Continual Innovation and Improvement (CI2) opportunities for orchestration/automation to include identifying mission benefits, cost savings, productivity gains, staff reductions, etc.

• Provides input and maintains interface control documents

• Works closely with Chief Data Officer (CDO) team to support automated CI/CD ETL factory

• Develops automation and orchestration test plans and procedures

• Maintains Interface Control Documents (ICDs) as needed

• Coordinate with Operations Leads and subcontractor teams to effectively build and deploy new system baselines and revisions that support orchestration & automation

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

• Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts

• 3+ years’ experience with one or more industry leading automation and SOAR tools/platforms

• Possess strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills

• Highly organized

• Experience with lifecycle development of large system integration programs

• Must have the ability to identify innovative solutions to complex, multi-faceted technical problems

• Up to 25% travel may be required to support activities at each primary duty location

• Strong project management skills

• Security +, ITIL Certifications

• US Citizenship is required.

• Active TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies

• Leadership roles on previous system, hardware, or software integration programs
