Leidos is seeking a Chief Technologist to join our Defense Enclave Services team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies.

Primary Responsibilities:
Maintains awareness of emerging and existing technologies to inform recommendations and decisions on the technology infrastructure in alignment with program goals
Continually refine and prioritize the Ranked Innovation Backlog through the Innovation Working Group (IWG) in partnership with DISA/DAFAs
Participate on the Innovation Advisory Panel (IAP) consisting of leading engineering talent across the government and private sector
Oversees Continuous Innovation and Improvement (CI2) framework to drive modernization that produces measurable results
Solve complex technology challenges by leveraging internal and external expertise
Leads research to ensure improvement of the technological assets of the organization
Defining capability development requirements and using statistical analysis of measurable capability improvements.
Serve as a main stakeholder for Digital Modernization and Accelerator Projects ensuring requirements are represented in technology roadmap plans
Provides technical advice/input that impact strategic client outputs and mission results.
Impacts functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards or operational plans.
Serves as a technical lead on large, complex projects.
Mentors and coaches’ other technical staff.
Basic Qualifications:
Masters with 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13+ years of prior relevant experience.
Ability to develop, manage, and implement a technology roadmap and portfolio
Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with public speaking skills
Ability to influence and persuade others, as well as handle difficult negotiations requiring a well-developed sense of strategy
Ability to mentor, lead, and promote talent
Remote and as needed Ft Meade, MD
Potential for 10% travel beyond the WMA
Top Secret/SCI is REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications:
DISA and/or DoD Experience
Veteran
5+ years proven experience establishing measurable digital transformation and continual improvement programs across large complex organizations
ITIL Expert or Master
