Job Description:
Leidos is looking for a highly-motivated, first-class Clerical Assistant to join us in supporting the Financial Litigation Unit of the U. S. Attorney’s Office of the U.S. Department of Justice. The location is 300 North Los Angeles Street, Suite 7516, Los Angeles, California 90012. If needed, on a case-by-case basis (i.e. hearing/trial at a branch office), 411 West Fourth Street, Suite 8000, Santa Ana, California 92701 and/or 3403 Tenth Street, Suite 200, Riverside, California 92501.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the Financial Litigation Unit.
Typical duties to include photocopying and scanning, answering and directing phone calls, making phone calls, typing documents and correspondence, handling inquiries and incoming work requests, pulling file copies of documents, reviewing files and records to answer requests for information, maintaining filing systems, packing boxes and preparing them for shipment, monitoring and ordering inventory of office supplies, data management, checking and entering data, updating and maintaining databases.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including PCs, printers, photocopiers, scanners, telephone systems, fax machines, numbering and binding equipment, etc.
Must be able to write and print clearly.
Must have typing/keyboarding skills and good communication skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Must take the initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete task correctly (e.g. where instructions are not explicit or appear to be contrary to the task objective).
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit. Leidos will ensure that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits. The pay for this position will be $16.38/hr.
