The QRC Airborne ISR Systems Division of the Airborne Solutions Group of Leidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Process & Database Trainer supporting the Persistent Surveillance Systems Tethered programs. Leidos is the Leidos is the Product Support Management and Logistics lead for several aerial intelligence platforms located in various CONUS and OCONUS operational areas and depots. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Persistent Surveillance Systems – Tethered (PSS-T) programs.
The Logistics Process & Database Trainer (LP&DT) is responsible for maintaining and improving the Standard Operating Procedures, courseware, and training support package for the Logistics Information Management System RepairData and the applicable workflows. The LP&DT will develop new procedures and processes in a logical format for the Operations and Logistics Teams’ use, to include SOP guidance, PowerPoint presentations, and email direction where applicable to new workflows or database utility. The LP&DT will administer user accounts in the database and train support personnel in the workflows and utility of the database.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages all accounts within the Logistics Information Management System.
- Maintain, improve, or establish creative training products to ensure an engaging and informative training experience for new users of the Logistics Information Management System.
- Responsible for communication with database developer for database issues and system development.
- Content developer for new procedures and processes within the RepairData database in the form of SOP development and guidance, Training material using mostly PowerPoint presentations and critical time sensitive notices via emails to users as needed.
- Responsible for training of new Leidos, and TCOM CONUS employees on processes and the utilization of RepairData, including traveling to Elizabeth City North Carolina and Yuma Proving Ground AZ where necessary to teach in person classes.
- Troubleshoot any technical or workflow issues within RepairData, develop corrective actions and coordinate with software developers as needed.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and Personnel Logistics department heads for database process needs, workflow issues and reporting requirements.
- Responsible for communication with customer representatives on how the database adheres to established polices guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
- Assist with annual updates on Standard Operating Procedures related to Logistics Program Directives.
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a BA degree and years of 4 years of prior relevant experience, Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent Microsoft Suite Skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Excellent Database Proficiency (ERP/MRP database)
- High capacity for independent learning, self-study and exploration of new subject matter
- Critical thinker that can analyze issues and determine the best course of action.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Experience working for the DoD supporting Government Property Administration
- Prior Experience training large groups in processes and procedures
- Experience with Government Property Management
- Experience managing a project
- Experience developing or updating Standard Operating Procedures
- Experience with audit preparedness and response
- Experience adhering to regulatory and quality standard
