Data Specialist II supporting the Litigation Support Section of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Leidos is looking for a highly-motivated, first-class Data Specialist II to join us in supporting the Litigation Support Section of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. The location is 450 5th Street NW, Washington, DC.

Primary Responsibilities include:
Assists with creating and updating document processing procedures as needed
Modifies load files and performs quality control on loaded data quickly and accurately
Runs multiple load streams simultaneously
Performs native file processing in LAW
Exports data from Relativity to create load files for other various platforms as requested by Case Manager
Performs data conversion processing, including conversions of various document types
Performs special format data conversions and file manipulation requests
Handles quality control on load files and Relativity data loads and exports
Performs advanced requests, such as creating data exports for productions and performing quality control on files, and complicated overlays or appends, privilege clawbacks, and sequestration of documents
Performs quality control to confirm accuracy on loads completed by new Data Specialists
Provides hands-on training to other Data Specialist as needed
Performs basic Relativity searching and global updates to mark and/or tag records as requested; to include confirming record counts in Save Searches and Image redactions prior to creating exports for production
Clearly and accurately discusses data inconsistencies found with Project Manager, Project Supervisor, as well as the Case Manager when necessary
Assists on calls relating to data load file formats or media encryption software with Case Manager and other IT individuals as requested
Basic Qualifications:
At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.
Must have strong knowledge of litigation support data loading, file conversion and manipulation for loading to various database platforms
Has experience with the litigation discovery process, including the EDRM workflow
Requires experience with Relativity, LAW and IPRO processing or similar tools
Expertise working with computers and a strong understanding of hardware components
Attention to detail is vital
Flexible with schedule and able to work extra hours when requested
Undergraduate degree; preferably IT related
Strong writing and verbal skills
Comfortable working in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment
Ability to estimate time required for a given task
Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications preferred.
Undergraduate degree preferred; preferably in computer science or related field.
Current or active clearance preferred.
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit. Leidos will ensure that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits. The pay for this position will be $33/hr.
