Job Description:
Leidos is hiring an Electrical or Systems Engineer to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) onsite at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
We are seeking an engineer with experience developing space and counter-space models and simulations in support of intelligence analysis objectives. The engineer will work to design, develop, test, and document simulations in SysML Cameo System Modeler. Candidates must have Model-Based Systems Engineering and SysML diagraming skills and have some knowledge in aerospace systems. The qualified candidate must also be able to work independently and have effective writing and verbal communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Research foreign satellite systems
Assessing capabilities of foreign space systems
Incorporate space models or components or entire vehicles into current modeling environment
Produce high confidence answers to problems of interest on space systems
Produce large scale/reverse engineered system simulations of space vehicles
Basic Qualifications
Ability to acquire a TS/SCI security clearance upon hire;
US citizenship is required
BS in Electrical or Systems Engineering and 4+ years experience or MS in Electrical or Systems Engineering and 2+ years experience
Basic understanding of aerospace systems
Experience in SysML diagraming tools (Cameo System Modeler, IBM Rhapsody, etc.)
Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work individually and with teams
Experience in Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE)
Preferred Qualifications
Active TS/SCI security clearance
MATLAB/Simulink experience
