We are in search of a Sr. CI/CD Specialist who has experience in administering CI/CD tools with a concentration in Bitbucket and Black Duck tools to join our team based in supporting the contracts at the Social Security Administration.

The candidate will be collocated with the SSA government employees and subcontractors at a government facility in Baltimore, Maryland.
This position may require occasional off hours support during operating system/software upgrades and patches.
Activities include implementing and maintaining the health of CI/CD tools and associated technologies to support a CI/CD environment serving as a Bitbucket and Black Duck Administrator and Specialist. Candidate will perform technical support resolving problem tickets and onboarding new projects. Candidate will maintain current version levels of existing and new product/tools. This will include installing, configuring and testing tools then deploying upgraded versions. The candidate will be responsible for nurturing the tool(s), ensuring each performs at optimum levels in the CI/CD pipeline environment. Candidate makes recommendations to the customer on improvements to the CI/CD pipeline.
Required Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively communicate orally and in writing with customers, team members, management, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Experience learning new technology, software in a self-directed fashion for example; reading the vendor / technical documentation and approved on-line training courses.
- Experience authoring and revising technical documentation keep it up to date and relevant.
- Experience as a Systems Administrator for RedHat Enterprise Linux in the operation of Enterprise Mission Critical services in Amazon Web Services
- Experience independently Planning, Installing, Configuring, Upgrading and Troubleshooting Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Linux-Based web-systems at scale.
- Experience working with performance and log monitoring software to apply performance improvements as needed. Preferred monitoring tools: Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Ability to conduct and participate in team know base sharing sessions, for example troubleshooting sessions, learning new technology, upgrades to COTS products the team supports.
- Ansible knowledge to implement “Configuration As Code” for change management of server configuration activities
- Experience using the following AWS Services, EC2, S3, ELBs, EBS, EFS.

- Jira Data Center Edition

- Nexus / NXRM Repository
- Confluence Data Center Edition

- Note: Candidate is required to learn and stay up-to-date with a working knowledge of the administration and use of any assigned product(s).
Desired Skills:
- Experience in an Agile development team.
- Experience in development activities such as Angular, nodejs. .net.
Education & Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of hands on experience.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Covid Guidance
