The Defense Group of Leidos has a career opportunity for an Audio Visual Technician in Stuttgart, Germany on the CITS III Program.

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DOD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.  This position is required to travel OCONUS. 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must have an active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Operate, monitor and manage all networked AV systems to include AV routing matrix, integrated computer systems, network infrastructure, lighting, and associated peripherals.
•Develop, maintain, and update VTC Control Devices. 
•As time allows, support the various VTC rooms throughout their Area of Responsibility. 
•Conduct user training, provide status briefs, develop, update and maintain SOPs and operational guides on AV systems. 
•Provide initial troubleshooting regardless of IT system/device or network and/or service provider.  
•Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot hardware, software, computer peripherals, and AV equipment.
•Assist employees via remote access, phone, or in person.
•May also mentor or train other Audio Visual Technicians. 
•Requires excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity.
•Must be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.
Additionally, the Audio Technician will provide support and/or travel to customer sites as required. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience.
•CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater).
•Experience with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and networking.
•Experience with DoD IT security requirements.
•Meet the above TESA requirements. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•ITIL v3 – Foundation
•ThinkLogical Certifications
•CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
•Familiarity with AMX/Crestron
•Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
•Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
•Experience working with basic networking to include foundations of Cisco Routers and Switches
