Job Description:
As a leader within the organization, you will be expected to collaborate and coordinate with a geographically distributed team while working independently to design, test, and implement digital engineering best practices to accelerate of digital transformation.
Primary Responsibilities
Performing due diligence and knowledge transfer of incumbent/customer personnel to identify near-term improvements to engineering processes
Evaluates processes, tools, and technology capabilities to identify opportunities for continual innovation and improvement
Leads the adoption and support of MBSE disciplines across organizational domains.
Assess engineering artifacts and develop models of systems using industry leading MBSE tool suites and innovation process techniques (e.g. IBM Garage Methodology).
Works closely with operations and cybersecurity teams to accelerate change and release velocity within acceptable defect rate tolerances using MBSE and Lean Six Sigma methods.
Tailor and Optimizes MBSE and Agile methodologies, processes, and tools to accelerate innovation throughput using measurable systems engineering modeling techniques
Facilitate collaborative meetings between the MBSE users and the tool development team to communicate modeling needs and help innovate potential solutions.
Provides technical advice and guidance to senior managers regarding the creation and implementation of new MBSE methods and techniques
Attend Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with industry leading engineers across multiple disciplines
Documents potential Continual Innovation and Improvement (CI2) opportunities to include identifying mission benefits, cost savings, productivity gains, staff reductions, etc…
Basic Qualifications
BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts
Possess strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills
Highly organized
Experience with lifecycle development of large system integration programs
Must have the ability to identify innovative solutions to complex, multi-faceted technical problems
Up to 25% travel may be required to support activities at each primary duty location
Strong project management skills
Security +, ITIL Certifications
US Citizenship is required.
Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
INCOSE CSEP Certification with 5+ years’ experience
3+ years experience with one or more industry leading automation and SOAR tools/platform
Experience with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies
Leadership roles on previous system, hardware, or software integration programs
