The Leidos Civil group is seeking a mid-level Construction Manager to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) Team, providing support to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Unstaffed Infrastructure Team (AJW-242). This position will be 100% Telecommute and Full-time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities in accordance with contract documents.
• Perform quality assurance and safety checks, and providing on-site direction as needed.
• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction managers to determine budget and timeline.
• Lead simultaneous complex construction projects in an aviation environment where Operational Risk Management is paramount.
• Anticipate construction issues and proactively facilitate resolutions for maintaining and/or recovering schedule while controlling cost overruns.
• Negotiate cost and schedule control measures in complex construction projects.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and 8 to 12 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction management.
• Coordinate resources, personnel management, time management and communication skills; ability to navigate related technology; familiarity with field-specific tools; knowledge of production, building and management processes, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
• Working knowledge with Microsoft Office and communication Tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Demonstrated aptitude in use of project scheduling software such as Microsoft Projects
• Demonstrated aptitude for collaboration, teamwork, and risk management
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of public trust. Public Trust requires US Citizenship or a Green Card and 3 years of residency in the United States.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Experience or Military Aviation background
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) credential
